a bit more spring

I have been stitching a bit again. Feels nice.... too bad I don't have much time!

Here is Spring now.

Pretty soon I will be needing to move the QSnaps down. Guess that will mean I am nearing halfway done with Spring.

weekend progress

I did some stitching on Spring over the weekend.  Shocking, I know.

Here she is now.

I hope to work on her a bit this week as well. Perhaps she will eventually get done. heh

I also started kitting up another knitting project. It will eventually be the Wearwithall Stole.

I bought the yarn.

Then I rewound it into center pull balls. By hand. Whew. How I wish I had a fancy ball winder. Each ball took a bit over and hour to wind.

Then, I started another knitting project. This one will be a cowl.

This is my first time knitting in the round.  That first row was a pain! But, all seems to be going well now.

March WIPocalypse

A bit late, but better than not at all,right?

I've been hit by a bit of a stitching slump. So, not much in the way of progress.

The one stitching thing I worked on this past month was my Maidens. Last month I had finished Winter.

I then stated stitching Spring. This is as far as she has gotten.

I also did a bit of knitting. Finishing up this small shawl.

Here it is blocking.

And that is pretty much it. Hopefully my slump will be over soon. Perhaps I will see about trying some stitching tonight.

She has a face!

I was able to stitch a bit last night. Finally finished my Maidens face.  Starting to doubt my sanity in doing over one skin when I look at the next Maiden.  Silly Summer has so much skin. heh. Ah well, I know I will like it in the end.

Not sure how much time I will have tonight for stitching. It is looking like not much... if I get any at all.

No face

I forgot how long over one faces take... or forgot how little time I have been getting to stitch. One or the other. Either way the face isn't finished though it is closer.

Tonight is going to be busy so I have doubts about finishing the face tonight. It will be done by the weekend though!

Spring has Sprung

Sadly, I don't mean weather-wise only stitching.

I have made a decent start on the Spring Maiden.

I am hoping to get her face done tonight. Feels good to be working on something that shows progress so easily!
