Finished the RR piece

Ended up getting a lot more stitching time in tonight than I thought I would. Could be because I can't sleep. Anyhow, I finished my RR.

I need to figure out how to put a list of my finishes down one side of this blog. That would really help me keep tally. 2 down now, 48 to go!

HAED RR

Only 14 more lines to go and I will be finished with my piece for the RR. I am hoping to have it all done by Thursday at the latest. It depends on how much gardening I get done in the next few days. That tends to cut into stitching time, it really wears on my wrist. But the bit I chose it looking so good, even if I do say so myself! I can't wait to post a picture.

floss theft

Drated cat. One of my cats must have run off with one of my skiens of floss. 833 to be exact. And I only have one last stitch to do in that colour for my HAED. Curse him. He had knocked over my box of floss the other day. I had thought I'd gotten them all picked up... guess not. The cat must be hording his own pile somewhere.
Now I have to hunt down somemore 833 for one single stitch so I can continue on. It always has to be when you have one last stitch to do.

HAED RR piece

I have been working away on this one. In a few more days I should have it done and when I do I'll be putting a picture of it up. Then, another one down for the challenge!

Wepons of Math Destruction

Posted 15-09-06 17:52
NEW YORK- A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General John Ashcroft said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement.

He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a problem for us," Ashcroft said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value.

They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle'.

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes." White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the president.

50 Projects Challenge

Starting this blog to keep a tally and such of my stitching. And to keep myself accountable to the 50 project challenge. It make take me a few years! But I have one project finished. So what if it is a model... it's done! 49 to go!
