long weekend over

Sadly, I didn't get as much stitching in as I would have liked. At least some progress was made though.

The skirt keeps growing. At some point I may even see an end in sight for it.... but not today.

I have a sorta kinda hope to get Fairy Moon done before Thanksgiving. Wonder if I can do it.... herm? Back to more white stitching.

a touch of crochet

My friends keep having babies. heh.

I worked up these guys the other day.

Of course, I did too much crochet and now my elbow is killing me. I had been hoping to do a few more things so I can send them off to all the new babies. :)

Since I can't hold a hook any more I picked up a needle.

I hope to get a good chunk more done on her skirt this weekend. The Kid has tomorrow and Monday off work so we get to enjoy a longer than normal weekend. Which is very good as he also has a night hike and a climbing comp this weekend.

Happy Stitching all!

IHSW progress

Yesterday was way too busy. whew.
I did get some decent progress on Fairy Moon over this stitching weekend.

Her whole shawl is now finished and I did a little bit more skirt. So much more skirt to do.

WIPocalypse October edition

It is already time for another WIPocalypse post! Wow, this year is flying by. I did much better in the stitching part of my life this month too.

Here is Sarah Tatum as of last lunar month.

Here she is now. Sorry about all the wrinkles.

I also finished the last three Crazy January Starts I had.

First Witchy by The Primitive Needle

Then Flower Power December by Ewe and Eye and Friends

Then Delivering Needleworks by Homespun Elegance

I also got back to work on Fairy Moon. This is how she looked when I started up on her again.

And how she looks now. The top photo shows the colours much better.

All in all I am feeling pretty good about this past lunar month. :)

It is IHSW. I hope to get some more work done on that skirt.

A completion and a continuation

First, I finished off the last of my Crazy January starts.

That makes all 15 finished. I am glad I attempted doing it. I am even more glad that all those starts were finished in the same year! I don't know that I would do it again, but it was fun to do once. It was nice to get all those smalls started AND finished. :)

After that piece was finished I put Fairy Moon up on my stand. I started the big white skirt. I am thinking it might be less.... daunting that I thought it would be. heh. We will see.

I think I am going to have to touch up the stitching on her arm.... it is bothering me. I hope to get some more stitches into her today.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

a bit more crazy

I finished up the Crazy Jan piece I was working on.

Just one more and I will be finished with all 15 of them. I will be working on the last one this weekend and I hope to finish it soon. Once I do finish it I think I am going to work on my poor neglected Fairy Moon.

At least until I can't stand her white skirt any longer. We'll have to see how much I can get done. heh

Happy Stitching!

exchange and progress

I had shown you the ABC exchange I sent a little bit ago. Today I get to show you the one I received.

Edgar sent me this. I just love it. The colour of the floss is wonderfully soothing and the buttons are so fun. I put it up on one of my bookshelves... it looks perfect.  :)

I worked a bit more on my Crazy January piece.

There is even a possibility that I might finish this one up tonight. At the very least I need to get those flowers to stop levitating.

Not much

At least not much in the way of stitching. I just can't seem to get healthy this fall and it is taking a tole on everything.

Slow progress is better than no progress.  :)

weekend stitching

I was able to stitch a bit this weekend.

I worked a little bit on Sarah Tatum.

I put it away after this photo. Just felt like working on something smaller.

And since I wanted smaller I thought heading back to my Crazy January pieces might be a good idea. I ended up finishing one.

Seemed like a good one to be working on during October. :)

Then I did a few more stitches into another Crazy January piece.

So, a somewhat successful stitching weekend.

Still getting over this illness though. It is kicking my butt.

More Sarah

Still sick. This cold is really kicking me in the butt. I've been doing more dozing than stitching when I sit down.

So, here is my little bit of progress on Sarah Tatum.

No progress on The Farmer's Wife quilt.  Don't trust myself to cut into the fabric right now.

Hope everyone has a good stitching weekend!
