I was able to finish Appil this weekend.  Happy Dance!

I am still not happy with the 's' in was.  I stitched it three different times.... sigh.  Then I gave up and called it good enough.

Another WIP bites the dust.  Oh yes.

I still love all the crazy faces.  The pissed of sun and the drugged moon.  All the 'oh, crap!' looks on the animals faces.  This one makes me smile.

Next up on my list is to stitch a piece for an exchange.... that won't get updated here and the finished photo will be shown after it is received.

Eve's trip to the hairdresser

Eve spent most of the day at the hairdresser.  After all... that much hair takes some time!

She is now feeling quite dashing.  Though, she is going to head out into the sun today to see if she can get a little colour.


Really Eve does have huge hair... and I just love it.  I am still kinda hoping to get this one finished up this weekend.  I have a somewhat busy weekend though, so I don't know if I will have enough time.  Let's hope!

Grounded

Got the ground completely stitched now.  So, still slowly making progress.

Today Eve goes to the hairdresser.  I am hoping it isn't a two day trip.  :)  Also hoping she looks a bit better after she gets her hair done... heh.

The Green is Done

All of the Green is done now on Appil.  Tonight I will try to get the rocks finished, and then I will be moving on to Eve's hair.  I really rather love her hair.  :)

I have a wish right now that I might be able to finish this one up by the end of the weekend.  What do you think..... doable?

Cats and Grass

Thanks for all the sweet comments on my last post.  I guess I did get a bit of stitching done, just not as much as I would have liked..... isn't that always the case.

And... here is more Appil.

I am going to try to get all the green done tonight.  The three little hill things under Eve are in brown, so don't think I am going all sorts of crazy with my stitching.  heh.

July WIPocolypse

I can't believe another month has passed!  It must have been a busy one as I sure didn't get much stitching done.  :P

The only thing I worked on this month was Appil.

A missing piece, and a slowly emerging Adam.

A handful of years ago I joined a UFO RR.  I sent out my long neglected Fairy Moon.  Sadly, somewhere along the way she was lost in the mail.  This was a very wonderfully kind group of ladies, however, and they bought the supplies to replace her.  She is now back home to me, and in the same place, more or less, as she was when I first sent her out.  Guess the world is telling me I am going to have to stitch that skirt.  No getting out of it.  :P  No clue when I will be getting back to stitching on her.

Also, I have been slowly working on Adam's skin.  He looks slightly less creepy now. Maybe I will be done with him before the next WIPocolypse update?  I won't be done with the entire piece.  heh

Hrm.  It seems like it has been awhile since I posted.  I've been a busy busy bee lately.  So much stuff to do so little time to do it in.  Sadly, my stitching is one of the things suffering because of this.

This is all the progress I have made on Appil.

I had hoped to be done with this portion already.  And my thought of a finish before the end of the month is slipping farther and farther away.

I don't think Adam is too happy with where I stopped stitching last night.  oops.  :P


I also got some stash a bit ago.

Look at all those lovely threads!  The ones on the far right are for the M. Woods sampler.  I am waiting on the fabric.  Of course I have no clue when I will start stitching it.

Hope you all are having better stitching time than I am!

pudgy bunny

It wasn't until I stitched the bunny that I noticed how pudgy he is!  So, yes, I am still working on Appil and making some progress on it.

Not really looking forward to the grass fill, but ah well.  It will look nice when it is finished.  heh.

I did something to the first joint on my index finger of my right hand.  It is all swollen and sore.  It is going to affect my stitching.  Sadly.  Doesn't my body know I have stitching goals!?!
